CALABARZON PUBLIC SEMINAR | ISO 9001:2026 Transition Awareness in Cavite
September 15, 2026

With the official publication of ISO 9001:2026, organizations certified to ISO 9001:2015 are now beginning their transition journey. The new edition is the sixth edition of the Quality Management Systems standard and marks an important opportunity for organizations to review and strengthen their existing QMS.
To help organizations understand the transition, QPlus conducted an ISO 9001 Awareness: ISO/FDIS 9001:2026 Transition Briefing on September 15, 2026, at AVR, FCIE, Langkaan, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Led by Jay-Mie Catibayan, the session was attended by participants from different organizations. It provided participants with an initial understanding of the updated standard and helped them consider how the changes may affect their current Quality Management Systems.
Transition awareness is an important first step. By learning about the changes early, organizations can begin reviewing their existing processes, identifying possible gaps, preparing relevant personnel, and developing a practical transition plan. Early preparation also gives teams more time to update their QMS, conduct internal evaluations, and coordinate with their certification body.
The publication of ISO 9001:2026 is not simply a compliance update. It is an opportunity to improve how your organization manages quality, risks, processes, and continual improvement.
